As Director of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget and Michigan’s Chief Information Officer, David L. DeVries sets strategic direction and ensures delivery of services to more than 49,600 state employees and 9.9 million Michigan residents. He oversees the department that supplies IT, procurement, cybersecurity, facilities administration and other business services.

Previously, DeVries was CIO for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and principal deputy Department of Defense CIO.
