
David Nordell is Senior Vice President for International Cyber Strategy, Policy and Law of the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace and Security Science (CSCSS), an independent think tank based in London. He specialises in maritime cybersecurity, about which he has spoken at international conferences in China, Greece, Italy, Germany and Romania, and is chairing CyberTech Maritime.
He has more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology and was the first professional adviser to the Israeli government on Internet and IT infrastructure policy. He is an expert on economic terrorism and on cyber threats to critical national and international infrastructure. He has spoken on cyber-security and broader security issues at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, the Herzliya Conference, the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv, and the London Stock Exchange, He has also worked with Chatham House on space security and the cybersecurity of nuclear weapons.
