Dr. Eviatar Matania is the first Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate (previously – the Israel National Cyber Bureau), a role which he filled until December 2017. The INCD leads the formation of Israel's national cyber strategy and promotes the national efforts it requires, both the capacity building and the operational defense. Dr. Matania has diverse experience both in military and civilian R&D, including system analysis and project management, focused primarily on entrepreneurship of ideas and entities. Among others, he co-edited a book on Israeli start-ups and taught venture capital courses and decision making in distinguished Executive MBA programs.
