Dr. Rimon is responsible for the IT policy planning and implementation at the Ministry of Education. He is also leading the educational Information and Communication (ICT) programs that support pedagogical activities, and responsible for the technological education programs, including computer science and cyber studies. Key achievements includes: Introducing innovative digital books and content that replaces printed materials; Creating a network of self-service portals for teachers and students based on CRM that enables their users to attain personal and public information and services; Responsible for planning the policies for the technological educational programs at all age levels. Previously held the position of Inspector, Deputy School Manager and a math teacher. Holds a PhD degree in Mathematics and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
